Desde 1909, la National Board of Review (NBR) ha dedicado sus mejores esfuerzos para apoyar al cine, tanto como arte y como entretenimiento.

Cada año, este selecto grupo de entusiastas cinéfilos, cineastas, productores y académicos visionan unas 250 películas para hacer sus selecciones de lo mejor del Séptimo Arte.

Desde 1929, la NBR ha reconocido una diversa selección de películas independientes, extranjeras, animadas, documentales y blockbusters, promoviendo conversaciones con sus realizadores para una mayor comprensión de los interesados.
