La Academia
de Hollywood anunció los nominados al Oscar y Mank, de David Fincher,
lidera con 10 nominaciones las producciones que compiten por el premio más
famoso del mundo.
En
segundo lugar, se ubicaron Nomadland Minari, Sound of Metal y The
Trial of the Chicago 7, con 6 nominaciones cada una.
Mientras,
Young
Promising Woman (Hermosa venganza) logró 5
nominaciones. Las directoras de dos de estas películas, Chloé Zhao y Emerald
Fennell, aparecen nominadas, primera vez que ocurre en la historia del Oscar.
En total, 70 mujeres consiguieron sus nominaciones, estableciendo un nuevo
récord.
Judas and the Black Messiah también consiguió 5
nominaciones, convirtiéndose en el primer filme de productores negros en ser
nominado como mejor película.
Otro
récord fueron los 9 actores de color nominados, incluyendo a Steven Yeun
(primer asiático-estadounidense) y Riz Ahmed (primer descendiente de pakistaníes).
Por Latinoamérica,
El
agente topo, de Chile, logró su nominación como mejor documental.
El Oscar de Hollywood se entregará el próximo 25 de abril.
